I have extensive experience in UI and UX, with expertise in design thinking, user research, data analysis, and project management. I have proven my ability to identify pain points and opportunities for improvement, and to translate them into effective and innovative design solutions. I have also demonstrated my skills in leading and mentoring junior designers, and in staying at the forefront of industry trends and best practices

I have many years of experience designing and delivering end-to-end products and a proven track record of helping organizations reaching and serving hundreds of thousands of users.
I am part of the team that have helped Hertzy Kabeya secure millions of dollars with an edtech application called The Student Hub, which was then featured in Forbes and the BBC in 2021.

In my professional experience I have learnt that the real superpower of a Designer is empathy and that humility keeps egos in check, preventing the pursuit of vanity projects that prioritize personal accolades over genuine user-centric solutions.

Having a User Centered Design approach is the only way to create a product that will be used and loved by people.

I am a strong advocate of Design Thinking and assisting organizations generating and de-risking new product ideas, while reducing costs and avoiding costly mistakes.

I'm also a big fan of Gamification. Some games undoubtedly contain the secret sauce for stimulating human curiosity and psychological motivation and it is a good practice to apply some of the principles of gamification in our works as Product Designers.

I have a solid background in Graphic Design and a good understanding of Data Visualization, Branding, Motion Design, Illustration, Animation, HTML and CSS.

I have been traveling a lot in my life and I speak fluently many languages such as English, Italian, French and Spanish, but I believe that no language can communicate better than a good design.
I am enthusiastic, well spoken, highly energetic, self-motivated and goal orientated and I absolutely love connecting with people and solving problems applying Design Thinking and creativity.

I'm a full-time Product Designer, but in my free time you will find me painting, writing lyrics, making music and practicing sports.

Current full time job

I spend most of my time at BU Technologies where we are building a Learning System designed to facilitate academic education in South Africa and I'm leading the design of a portal where students will be able to create a professional CV and recruiters will be able to see, analyse and hire those students seamlessly. We are trying to solve a huge problem in our country which is youth unemployment and me and the team are ready to go extra-miles to get it right.
